We first met Indi while we worked at Brighton Students' Union and Indi worked at Sussex Students' Union. We joined forces and worked on encouraging our organisations to have more of an impact in the local area, supporting students and residents to come together. Indi's work paved the way for Citizen's Brighton to be formed locally, for community organising to be adopted by Sussex SU and for community organiser volunteers and paid roles to be created and much more. Indi has many years of experience in grassroots activism especially around the topics of sustainability and the environment, housing and refugees. She is a trainer for Community Organisers and works for Brighton & Hove Council to house refugees arriving in the UK.
